Foreign Student Program
The Foreign Student Program allows international students to come to Québec to study in a designated educational institution. This is a program in which responsibilities are shared between Québec and Canada.
To follow a training program lasting more than six months, you must submit an application for temporary selection for studies.
Once you have received the letter confirming the Minister’s consent for you to stay in Québec as a foreign student, you must complete the steps for obtaining a study permit from the Government of Canada.
