INTRODUCTION-
The Riverside School Board (RSB, French: Commission scolaire Riverside) is an English-language school board in the province of Quebec and provides educational services and programs to all students who have a certificate of eligibility for English education in Quebec. They are responsible for anglophone public schools on South Shore (Montreal).

i) Program objectives
- Provide students with the training needed to calculate and prepare purchase and sales invoices, receipts, payments, etc.
- Give students the skills required to perform payroll functions, calculate prices, and manage cash.
- Train students to carry out end-of-period and end-of-year accounting tasks.
- Teach students how to complete an accounting cycle using accounting tasks.
- Provide students with the skills needed to generate analysis reports and financial statements; to use spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; and to set up a basic accounting system.
- Help students acquire oral and written business communication skills in both English and French.
- Schedule Daytime: Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm
Evening: Monday to Thursday, 5:30pm - 9:30pm
All program options are offered completely online with the exception of exams which are done on site

i) Program objectives
- Provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to design document formats for business correspondence and to translate business correspondence.
- Teach students the basic functions of spreadsheet software and advanced functions of word processing software.
- Train students to carry out common accounting tasks manually and electronically; use database and presentation software.
- Instruct students to manage administrative information and use telecommunications tools.
- Teach students to understand and identify various approaches to quality time management.
- Help students practice oral and written communication skills in both English and French.

Traditional Daytime: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30pm

a) MASONRY- BRICKLAYING

Program objectives
- To acquire the knowledge, ability and attitudes necessary upon entering the workforce to correctly and successfully complete the tasks and activities necessary for the masonry and bricklaying trade, such as; sizing, cutting, installing with mortar, cement or other adhesive, as well as finishing joints with the following materials: different types of bricks, stone, blocks, refractory materials, prefabricated architectural cement as well as installing rigid insulation and welding anchors.
- In order to better prepare students for the Québec workforce, the content of this program is given in both English and French!

a) INSTITUTIONAL AND HOME CARE ASSISTANT
i) Program objectives
- Train students to provide care and assistance in public, private and community health care networks to persons of all ages who are sick or who have physical, psychological, or psychosocial disabilities
- Train students to work on a team and establish effective helping relationships.
- The rationale of this occupation is to provide aid to patients so that they may recover or maintain their autonomy and overall health condition.
