Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Program – Comprehensive 12-Month Training in Canada
The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program is an intensive full-time, 12-month diploma program designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in frontline emergency medical services. Delivered in a blended learning format, the program alternates between on-campus classroom instruction and live online (synchronous) sessions, allowing students to engage directly with instructors and peers in real time.
Students attend classes one week on campus, followed by one week of interactive live online learning, ensuring a balanced combination of hands-on training and flexible digital education. Full availability is required Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, as attendance is mandatory for both in-person and online components.

Refunds due to study permit rejection
If you have been denied a study permit/visa and are unable to attend JIBC as a result, you are eligible to ask for a refund of your confirmation deposit and any additional tuition that you may have pre-paid.
- Complete the International Confirmation Deposit Refund Request form. JIBC does not accept hand-written forms.

Email the Office of International Affairs, including your full name and JIBC student ID in the subject line, attaching the International Confirmation Deposit Refund Request form, IRCC’s visa denial letter to the email and a copy of your passport ID page.
JIBC has partnered with Paymytuition to process international refunds. Upon approval of your refund, you will receive an email from studentrefunds@paymytuition.com which will provide you with further instructions on how to complete your refund process.
Please notice that refunds are subject to evaluation upon request with no guarantee of approval. Once a decision is made, correspondence will be emailed to you.
JIBC reserves the right to contact IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) to verify the status of a visa and/or study permit application and/or to authenticate the contents of a study permit refusal letter when processing a refund request.
You were admitted but do not wish to continue your studies at JIBC
- Tuition deposits and application fees are nonrefundable and non-transferrable;
- Refunds are calculated from the date the student withdraws online or when official withdrawal is received in the Registrar’s Office;
- Unpaid fines and other amounts owing will be deducted from the refund;
- Students required to withdraw due to violation of the Student Code of Conduct policy are not entitled to a refund;
- A full refund is issued if the course is cancelled;
- Extenuating circumstances may be considered outside of the deadlines indicated below;
- Refund information is provided at the time of registration.
