Master of Business Administration (MBA) – General
Overview
Rooted in the Vancouver business world, New York Tech’s respected Master of Business Administration program extends to locations around the globe. Learn to evaluate and improve operations, gain leadership through professional associations in Canada and the United States, and interact with professors and executives who share decades of industry experience. You'll learn to evaluate and improve operations, work collaboratively to address socioeconomic issues with a global mindset, and analyze business sustainability and profitability. The AACSB-accredited Master of Business Administration program helps you gain the team-building, leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills to transform a business and boost its value in the global marketplace.
Admission Requirements
- Four (4) –year Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. In exceptional circumstances, applicants with an overall GPA between 2.75 - 2.99 (on a 4.0 scale) may be eligible to apply if they have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience with proof of employment to be submitted by the employer. These applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Proof of English proficiency if you have not completed your bachelor’s degree from an accredited North American institution. Minimum overall score of IELTS (Academic and Online) 6.5 or 88 TOEFL (IBT and Home edition) and 58 PTE (Academic).
Application Process
All New York Tech Vancouver applications are done online and require a non-refundable $50 USD application fee. In addition, you will also be asked to upload the following documents:
- Completed online application
- A copy of your passport (valid passport only, expired passport will not be accepted).
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT/Home Edition, PTE).
- GMAT score if your overall GPA is less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Bachelor's Degree completion certificate.
- Semester-by-semester transcripts for all four years of your bachelor’s degree.
- 1-2 pages of a Resume or a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Statement of Purpose(recommended)
- Any transcripts or certificates received beyond your bachelor’s degree program.
