Program Requirements
  • Academic: Students applying to the Bachelor of Education must have: • 65% in ELA 30-1 • 50% in Social Studies 30-1 OR 65% in Social Studies 30-2 • 50% in Math 30-1 OR 65% in Math 30-2 • 50% in one Group C grade 12 course • 50% in one Group A, B, or C grade 12 course OR Physical Education 30 Group A: English, Social Studies, Languages, Aboriginal Studies Group B: Art, Drama, Music, Fine Arts Group C: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Science, Computer Science Indian Equivalent (System Entry): 12th Pass with English and Mathematics mandatory + relevant subject combinations as per stream.
  • English: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 each band) PTE: 59 (minimum 56 each section) Duolingo: 115–125 TOEFL iBT: 83 CAEL: 60 (minimum 55 each band) Oxford ELLT: 7 Overall MET: 61 (minimum 58 each band)
  • Special: • Specialization selection after Year 1: Early Years (K–4) Middle Years (5–9) Secondary (10–12) • Minor subject selection (11 options available) • Secondary students choose major teachable subject • Field experience every year • Full-term practicum in final year • CTS pathway available for Journeypersons • Up to 33 credits recognition for eligible trades professionals • PGWP Eligible
