Do you Need Supervisor to Complete your Masters or PHD in Canada ?
Everytime we have questions from our students seeking admission into Master's and PHD's porgrams in Canadian Universities.
It depends on the route of your program. All students who are working on a thesis (either Master or PhD) will need a supervisor. It is advisable to secure a supervisor. This is not strictly a requirement, but it is strongly recommended. Your chances of being accepted are better if there is a supervisor who is willing to take you. Students who are pursuing a course based Masters do not need to secure a supervisor. You can move on to the next step.
