The University Sciences Diploma at Red Deer Polytechnic is a university transfer-focused program designed to open pathways into various Bachelor of Science degrees and professional programs. This diploma builds a strong foundation in core sciences including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

  • Academic Requirement: 2025/26 Requirements (Including Winter 2026) Minimum 60% average with no mark below 50% in: • Biology • Chemistry • English (ELA equivalent) • Mathematics 2026/27 Requirements • 50% in ELA 30-1 • 60% in Math 30-1 • 60% in Biology • 50% in Chemistry Indian Equivalent (for system entry): 12th Science (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics mandatory) with minimum required subject percentages.
  • ELP Requirement: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 each band) PTE: 59 (minimum 56 each section) Duolingo: 115–125 TOEFL iBT: 83 CAEL: 60 (minimum 55 each band) Oxford ELLT: 7 Overall MET: 61 (minimum 58 each band)
